Never thought I bought the wrong product. Spent hours soaking, removed some of the rust with brushes and sandpaper. Finally gave up and just painted as-is with rust. My garden flamingo project ended up costing over $150 and still not rust-free - when I probably could’ve bought a new one for $200. And I would’ve saved hours of free time of which I have so few. The product is probably great at what it’s meant to do, thus the 5 stars. I’m not penalizing the company for my mistake. Probably good idea to wear gloves but I didn’t and my hands are fine. If the manufacturer is reading this, you may want to use a different color on the bucket and label as it’s virtually identical to the rust remover product. Rust on my upper control arm after soaking and scrubbing for 6 days. Does it look like the rust evaporated? Maybe it works on very light surface rust but as you can see did nothing. Waste of money. As much as I wanted to avoid sandblasting it look like I have no choice.
