Before you buy or if you have problem growing it. Give this a read.

The vague instructions and the lack of information on growing conditions ranges, can and will cause frustration. Not telling the species or growing size not great as I do not know if I reach the max height on them or they are still growing. (Reasons for why no five only four stars.)So here are mine instructions:Seed distribution. You can actually following package instructions or lightly cover them in soil. No more than a inch deep. Otherwise, just follow instructions as seed it to how you thick you want it.By lightly water the seed= misting/spray it heavily. It grows fast in moist soil. Do not pour water heavily on the seeds as it washing around and ruin the distribution of plant as it pools in a few spot. But for what too much? Hard to do as I seen this stuff grow in the water bowl as in submerged in water. What is too little? Well after it germinate and rooted pretty much, then you need water it as needed. By that I mean to maintain humidity your reptile needs, as long it has a moist deep layer for roots. It will survive low humidity very easily.Lighting is required. Best result is full spectrum lighting or grow lights. It will grow under Mercury vapor bulbs for sure (I got both for my setup), but I am not sure about just basic incandescent heat bulbs.Soil is required Eco-earth is good as well any other reptile substrate made for bio active setups (such as Lugarti reptile bedding). Sand and Eco-earth work great too. Need to hold some moisture and loose enough for root to grow into. For people doing this for a reptile, please stay from potting soil or outdoor dirt as it can harbor deadly chemicals (great for plant lethal to animals), pest, and paratise that could kill your reptile and even your setup.Temperatures, it is very tolerant. It will easily grow in room temperature. What it max and min temperature range? Sadly, I do not know. Again, because failed to provide a species name or range of growing conditions. I cannot said.Otherwise, it is as advertised.P.s. Keep an eye for grubs. Found a grub that was in it. I killed it quickly before it could infest my setup.

Put it directly under a light!

*by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2018*

At first I was going to chalk this up as a bad purchase since the seeds did not sprout. Then I decided to put them directly under my tortoise's basking light and they sprouted immediately. Within a day, I saw little specks of grass. By two days there were bunches of grass. By four days, there was a lot of grass, and it was fully matured within a week. I used pint-sized plastic containers and Miracle Gro dirt and watered it daily. Voila! Terrarium grass for my baby sulcata. :)

I am really trying to like it! But it hasn't grown yet and I've tried for about a month now. Going to attempt to put it in its own container and try to just transplant it into my tortoises tank. So 4 stars until further notice.
