It requires technique to apply well. Doable for a beginner like me if you take your time and are meticulous while applying. I prepped the paint before applying and it turned out great. I do not have an ideal environment. I apply it in my garage within the recommended temperature range, the garage door open, and less than ideal lighting. The Adam's floro light helps a lot to ensure an even coat without missing spots. Every thirty minutes, I back the out into the sunlight to more easily identify high spots or uneven distribution to correct it before it's too difficult to correct. Then, I let it cure for at least 24 hours in the garage without driving. No bare or high spots on my third experience. The other two vehicles are two years in and still repelling well despite washing the car at home 6-8 times per year. I use Adam's Graphene Soap to wash and Graphene Boost as a drying aid while drying. Review: Worth the money - It rained hard today for the first time since apply it. It surprised me when I hit the gas and all the water slid off the hood at once and hit the windshield. Way easier to apply than I thought. Still takes effort, just not as hard as everyone make ceramic coating sound. I don't have a garage so I had to go panel by panel as the weather allowed and it turned out just fine. This was a much better use of my money than paying the dealer to ceramic coat it. I had enough for a larger vehicle and enough to redo a few areas I messed up. A couple notes: I saw a lot of people complain that it made plastic chalky looking. It sounds like that's a user error issue and it works fine for most people, but I didn't trust myself not to mess it up. I just got the stuff made for the trim. I also didn't test it on glass, I got the glass coating since it rains heavy where I'm at. ## Features - ✅ THE NEXT GENERATION OF PROTECTION FOR YOUR ENTIRE VEHICLE! Anyone with actual experience, please?** A: As long as the cap is completely closed and airtight you should get up to 12 to 24 mos. in the bottle. Exposure to air or moisture will cause the coating to cure and the solvent to escape. Thanks! **Q: What comes with the kit** A: 2 plush microfiber towel 2 applicator suede blocks 1 adams ceramic spray boost 1 paint prep 1 suede towel 1 graphene ceramic coating **Q: Total amateur here. i am finally getting a tesla this weekend. do i still need to go through the entire prep process (like using a clay bar)?** A: Great question and we are happy to hear your interested in detailing and maintaining the look of your new Tesla! Yes we still recommend decontaminating your brand new vehicle because even new vehicles are exposed to environmental deposits, fallout, etc. In addition, this ensures the best bond to your vehicles surfaces which maximizes the longevity of your coating. Thanks! **Q: Why is this cheaper on amazon than it is on adams website? is this the exact same kit? same size bottle and accessories??** A: This listing is priced to include discounts whereas our website is designed so that you apply the discount at checkout. This is the exact same kit, bottle, etc. We are the only sellers of our products on Amazon which allows us to provide the same/closest possible experience across our channels.
