I can go for about 50 reps with the 30 lb size but less than 5 with the 50 lb option. **Q: How do these compare with the "Iron Crush" grippers?** A: These are much nicer than the Iron Crush grippers. I originally bought this as part of the grip pro 3-pack, of the red, black and green one. I started on the green, and now use the black. It's the best hand-exerciser I know, being maintenance-free, travels extremely well, and can be used for different grips. By far the best tool for handgun shooters because it's easy to isolate the fingers from the trigger finger, so you don't encourage that nasty habit of tightening the entire hand when you squeeze the trigger.
