Review: Well made, good device for hamstring exercise - I am a runner that has recently had hamstring problems, and wanted to add some hamstring strengthening into my routine. **Q: Should it have come with a mat and/or instructions?**
A: No, mat sold separately. I used a pillow instead. It's fairly straightforward slide the strap under the door so the round knob is on the otherside of the door to catch. You can adjust the strap for lower limb length.  Personally I think it's safer to have it set up so that you are pulling the door into the frame instead of out, I don't trust the lock to hold my weight(200+ LBs) if you are referring to an actual exercise instructions pertaining to form, there are tutorials on youtube, not necessarily with this device but a similar set up.

**Q: Is there a way to secure to a horizontal bar? Door to my home gym is a step up and the low bar on my Squat rack is about 4” from the bottom.**
A: I think you could MacGyver something behind your horizontal bar so the door anchor at the end of the strap wouldn’t slip under. Big dumbbells? Heavy plates? Just an idea. Worth a try. It’s a simple product.

**Q: What is the difference between the Nordstick and the Nordstick Pro - besides the price (jejejeje)?**
A: I think it has fancier padding. The one I have is normal squishy foam.

**Q: Some of the photos show this product being used without a door or any bulky weight attached.  How is this possible?**
A: This item is designed to be used with a door. Some creative customers have found other ways to use it without a door. In our images the door was photo shopped out to best show the Nordstick! All were taken using a door!

This is a great purchase. Not much to say about this. Good quality, it's lasted this long and doesn't show much wear and tear. It works well and is a good price point to be able to do Nordic at home. Make sure you have some support for your knees.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not terrible, if you get it on sale

Don't buy this full price. If you can pick it up for a steep discount, though, it's a great little workout tool. I am an aerialist and after watching a friend tear her hammy in a routine I decided to try some dedicated exercises to strengthen my hamstrings and hopefully prevent any of my own injuries. I've only been using this for about a week and the Nordic curl is *hard* but it feels great. The nordstick is comfortable, but I'm a smidge disappointed in the quality. I got it for a steep discount and it's definitely worth the price I paid... But not much more than that. It comes apart easier than I anticipated, and if one of the little endcaps comes off it can be pretty difficult to get back on properly because they don't have any holes for air to escape, so you're just trapping air inside the metal tube core. It's also a little difficult to adjust and the stitching isn't terribly clean, leaving me slightly worried about its longevity. Aside from that, though, it does its job well so far and the foam padding over the steel core seems like pretty good construction, so I only knocked a single star off.
