The reason it doesn't work for them is because they are filtering the water after it's alkline for example in a gravity fed filter like Berkeley which removes the minerals required for alkaline as it passes through the filters resulting in lower pH. You simply rinse the stones let them air dry then place them in the bottom of your water filtration system. In my case the berkley. 5. It doesn't change the taste of your water. We have not even noticed the difference in the taste so we get all the extra benefits without adding a different flavor to the water. 6. And lastly I love that the cost is so low. For the value that these mineral stones add the price is definitely low. Especially considering That it's a purchase you only need to make every 2-3 years.
