Can this wood stick really weigh 4oz???** A: It might be a typo, I figure it's around a pound, maybe a tad less. Still regardless, for people that don't like canes this is well worth it. Plus you have the added security if someone wants to mess with you. I kinda live in a bad place and when I have to walk somewhere near home, it's nice to have this along, regardless of it's dogs or people. Don't know if I'd use it for mountain lions though (LOL). **Q: I have some Neuropathy in my feet and need some help with walking. In your opinion, would this help?** A: I have MS and my neurologist suggested a walking stick rather than a cane when I'm having walking issues, including neuropathy in my feet. I had been using a cane prior to my neurologist's suggestion. So I ordered a walking stick. Personally I find the walking stick more helpful than a cane because I feel more comfortable and secure with it than I do a cane. I am 5'2" short and I ordered a 48" walking stick.
