I have three of them: 0ne inch, 1/2 inch and a rigger. I find that the soft brushes, not sable, work better than a stiff brush in washing the graphite into a shape. They go on like butter and are a great quality because, of course, they are Derwent. They have the graphite softness which is so much different from a colored pencil or their Inktense pencils.
