It casts disturbingly far, without any hint of spool wobble even when casting out at full power. Buttery smooth, no play at all anywhere in the reel. It feels a bit heavier and sturdier than the metanium dc, so it does get a little tiring on the wrist at the end of the day. Otherwise a halo product from shimano. The metanium is the king!
