I was unable to pair it, but the button on the outlet works fine. Is there anything else I can try?** A: It doesn't matter which wall socket you use when pairing the remote socket/plug. Therefore try pairing the socket with the remote in a different wall socket. You can then move the programmed remote socket to the wall socket of your choice and it should work correctly off the remote. If that doesn't work for you then I think you have a faulty unit.
