What you need to do is adjust the jigs to the right angle. **Q: Does this jig set work for Rikon wet grinder with 8 inch wheel?** A: I think this machine is similar to Wen brand, you can use the accessories but you have to make adjustments. **Q: Which one of these parts attaches the (shown) knife holder to the rail?** A: The knife holder is the smaller of the 2 clamps that look alike. Adjust rail up and down and turn nob on clamp to get your edge angle. The knife clamp just rests on rail, does not attach. When you match the angle, mark edge with black marker and test. After a couple passes, stop wheel and flip switch other way. If you switch too fast it will keep running in same direction. Now with knife still in clamp flip to other side of rail. This is the same angle even though it is rotated because the rail is not centered above wheel. Make a couple passes and look at edge still in clamp. Stop motor and switch again until you get a good edge. The wheel is not real aggressive and dull knife will take some time.
