So far they've gone in several Mac Pro 1,1, 2,1, and 3,1 machines, and each time there have been no problems. Typically I am installing Radeon HD 5770s, but I've also used this with Radeon X1900XT cards and Nvidia 8800GT cards.They work seamlessly with at least 3 models of Mac Pro and every graphics card with which I've used. them. Everything works fine.Update: I just upgraded to a nVidia GTX 670. The cable is shorter than the stock Apple cable and is not quite long enough to reach cards that have their power input on the top of the card instead of the back edge like the 5870.
