I've had this iPad cover for a month now, and it seriously looks like the day I opened my Amazon box. (and SMELLS like it too! mmmmm LEATHER!) I could INSTANTLY tell that it was REAL leather, too. And THICK leather....not a paper thin sheet of leather glued to Chinese cardboard (I've been RIPPED OFF a few times by inaccurate product descriptions of "Authentic Leather" before. (OK, flat out lied to by the vendor.) and I could also tell immediately that THIS one is solid, sturdy, and will definitely last me much much longer than the ones I've purchased every 6 months for the past 10 years. In fact, I'll update this review this again in 6 months and tell you about the condition it is in.I think the two things I really REALLY love about this, is that I never have to go back and check to see if the display shut-off actually triggered when I close the cover. This cover turns my iPad off 100%, every time, regardless of the angle, speed, or technique I used to shut it at that particular time, if that makes sense. I also really like the different pockets: Business cards, and POST-ITS fit snugly in the two small pockets. The stylus is great quality, but I never use a stylus, so the snug elastic band can alternately be used for a writing pen. The large, outer pocket, used for 1/2 folded printer pages is something I use CONSTANTLY. (A nice change from always having the 4-8 medical related printouts that I am constantly being sent home with from the Dr's office, always being folded over INSIDE my cover....(between the iPad and the shut-off magnets on the case)....which in turn, drains battery....right?)BUT, my absolute favorite thing about this case: I can angle my iPad into "viewing stand" position, and the THICK leather strips that go along the bottom of the iPad, which hold it upright, ARE ACTUALLY HIGH ENOUGH that I can type away as fast as I want without worrying that if my keystrokes are too hard that the whole thing might fall flat onto the table I am sitting at. (instant HUGE aggravation with my iPad covers of the past that constantly did that nonsense.) FINALLY, someone who designs these things solved that serious problem. (That's right, all of you sub-standard iPad cover designers out there....people actually TYPE on their iPad when they are angled in their cases....and they don't want them falling over while they are typing or Facetiming or watching a movie in bed!)NOW, my ONLY "con" (as opposed to the above PROS) Well, the only negative thing I have to say, is that I sat down to order two more for Christmas presents for friends that complimented mine and have compatible iPads.....and the product page now says "Currently Unavailable".HOPEFULLY, they will become available again.I also want to add that this designer and vendor deserve to make a ton of money on these quality cases.The price is remarkably low for the quality product I am going on and on about.
