If you're not sure, hold up a piece of thin/light material, even tissue paper, and see which way it moves - then hold this in the same direction. It won't give you an accurate reading however so keep in mind this is more of a 'toy' than a genuine scientific device. And that includes the temp sensor which is frankly rubbish. Kids find it fun (for about five mins) though. **Q: How accurate is the barometer function?** A: Potentially not very. During a storm when winds were high recently, ( 70+MPH gusts recorded locally) I couldn’t get gusts more than 35mph and could really feel the wind buffering me and was unable to walk in a straight line.
