I actually own two of these antennas, one is 3ft the other is 4ft. The 4ft version is on my tractor trailer and I can tune it to a perfect SWR of 1:1 right in the middle of the band at channel 20. The 3ft version also tunes up nicely but I can only get it to 1.3:1 swr at channel 20 which for CB is still a really good performance. Overall I love both of my antennas. They are a great value. I'd also like to add that the 4ft version tunes up very nice on the 10 meter ham band too. I've actually used it for portable ops on 10 meters with a ham radio and made a bunch of contacts. Review: Better than the firestik 2 - Had to go to a fender mount on my new 2023 f150 due to it being aluminum and having a tanau cover. This is ALL you want on a fender mount! I had a 4 foot firestik 2 on a mag mount on my last truck and it wouldve destroyed my fender mount on this truck. This is absolutely perfect. BTW a procomm medium duty spring is the perfect spring for this. Light duty was wayyy too floppy and a heavy duty would snap this antenna off before bending. Was so easy to tune to 1.1 swr and works exactly like it should. Looks good on my truck and it is nice it being thinner and lighter. Definitely recommend. Cap was black to match antenna ## Features - Lightweight - Easy-tune 'bare-hands tunable tip' - High-performance coil design - Flexible fiberglass tube ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005AUJXLM | | Antenna | Radio | | AntennaDescription | Radio | | Best Sellers Rank | #69 in Radio Antennas #155 in Car Audio & Video Antennas | | Brand | FireStik | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,703 Reviews | | Impedance | 50 ohm | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Manufacturer | FireStik | | Maximum Range | 3 feet | | Mfr Part Number | FL3B | | Model Number | FL3B | | Number of Channels | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 716414160000 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Antenna:** Radio - **Brand:** FireStik - **Color:** Black - **Impedance:** 50 Ohms - **Manufacturer:** FireStik - **Maximum Range:** 3 Feet - **Number of Channels:** 1 - **Number of Items:** 1 - **UPC:** 716414160000 ## Images ![FL3-B Three Foot FireFly Antenna With Tuneable Tip (Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/310T3YGjDyL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What kind of range are you getting with this?** A: Your range is very dependant on many other factors, but when setup right about 5 miles with good trajectory to your buddies. Dont cheap out on a radio, cobra 29ltd or galaxy 959 i would recomend, then turn the mod all the way up on them, its very very worth it, these two radios are great for this and power out very well **Q: So what exactly is included in the package? Is it just the antenna or does this include the antenna and spring?** A: Just antenna. Order spring extra. **Q: is this a self grounding antenna?** A: The FL3-B antenna "requires a chassis grounded mount and horizontal metal ground plane (counterpoise)" to effectively transmit. Firestik does make a No-Ground-Plane needed version of this antenna. It is available as a kit in 3 or 4 foot lengths (models LG3-M2 or LG4-M2). The No-Ground-Plane variation must be used with the Firestik NGP (No-Ground-Plane) coax cable supplied in the kit. These NGP kits may be mounted to any surface such as metal, wood, fiberglass, plastic, etc. You do not have to provide a ground plane, nor is it necessary to chassis ground the mount of a Firestik NGP antenna. **Q: Is thhis a 1/4 wave or 5/8 wave antenna?** A: It's definitely a 5/8 antenna ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value antenna *by J***K on February 24, 2026* Really great antennas. Cap was black to match antenna ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Tune - Great TX and RX *by K***G on January 5, 2025* My setup currently consists of this antenna and a President McKinley SSB CB. This antenna was easy to adjust with an SWR meter. I got the SWR at channel 20 right at 1.0, and the radio’s performance is excellent with this antenna. I would definitely recommend a spring at the bottom of this antenna, because although the fiberglass is somewhat flexible, if it got in a fight with a branch, it would lose. Overall fantastic antenna for CB radios. ## Frequently Bought Together - FireStik FL3-B Three Foot FireFly Antenna With Tuneable Tip (Black) - FIRESTIK K-4A CB RADIO ANTENNA HEAVY DUTY SO-239 STUD MOUNT (BULK) - MOOKEERF PL259 UHF Cable 15ft, CB Coax Cable RG58 CB Cable UHF Male to Male for CB Radio, Ham Radio, Amateur Radio, Antenna Analyzer, SWR Meter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/3636854-fl3-b-three-foot-firefly-antenna-with-tuneable-tip-black](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/3636854-fl3-b-three-foot-firefly-antenna-with-tuneable-tip-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
