Probably best not to push the child if they are struggling - just move on to another problem and revisit the tough ones at a later date. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beware, some American spelling! *by K***R on 29 October 2025* I have received the book just today and have only looked through it quickly. The book is divided into sections, spacial reasoning, math puzzles, logic problems, word games, focus activities, two-player games and answers. I would say that the first few pages of each section could be done by a six year old, possibly with some guidance, but challenging enough to make them fun and interesting. The puzzles gradually get harder so possibly if your child is six it would be a book that he/she grows into. Some of the drawings are not clear as to which animal is which so maybe a page giving each one a name would be helpful for the younger ones. Also be aware that American spelling is used for example colour is spelled color so the spelling games may need to be checked by an adult. On the whole it looks as though it’s a good buy. It’s a fun way for children to learn to think logically and work things out. 4 stars because of American spellings and unclear diagrams, the skunk or is it a cat, badger -or is it a fox, are anyone’s guess. I haven’t tried the puzzles yet so maybe there isn’t a cat or fox. Anyway as said earlier a page at the beginning introducing the characters would clear any confusion up. Also answers are given, but an explanation as to why that is the answer would be useful.
