These are plants and coat hair. My hair is as shiny as it was when I was a kid now that I have stopped chemically treating my hair for a year. This light ash blond coats my grays enough so that it looks as though I spend a fortune highlighting my brown hair. My hair is a gorgeous shimmering light brown with this product. if your hair is prone to brassy undertones than you must have indigo on hand. You can mix some into the dye or apply later if an issue. I always add a bit of indigo to my hair.if your hair is frosted than be very careful with indigo. This product came quickly and is less brassier than most- they use a colorless henna to help dye, which is a smart technique. Strand test can be done by collecting hair from your brush if you don't want to cut snips of your hair. I love Radico Colour Me Organic products, The Henna Guys, and Colora henna products... Also, if you are trying to let your hair turn gray gradually- this is the way to go. Just do less time each time and eventually you end up with gray hair.
