Some cards are busier than others so it may depend on how well they can remember what they've studied. You may want to start with the junior for a 10-year old. It's a fun game, and even we older ones can't recall some of what's on the card. Some cards are fairly easy, other not so much. **Q: what age group is this for (I am teaching learning disabled 6th-8th) should I get the junior?** A: my daughter is 10 now and still enjoys playing the junior version. We also have the regular (adult) version and it is basically the same concept, except you have much further to go on the board to win, and the pictures are a little more complex (and some of the questions are harder). The junior version is over much more quickly because you only have to advance something like 25 points to win (and if you roll a lot of 5 and 6 dice, and get the answer correct, you can advance very quickly because you advance the same # of pips on the dice you rolled). The regular version has a much longer scoring track, although I think you can decide ahead of time to end the game at a preset mid-point for a shorter game. We do like the games a lot and have played them many times, especially the jr. version. **Q: Can two people play this, or are teams required?** A: It can be played both ways.
