It is very convenient, easy to clean, and fits our chunky cat well. **Q: Is the inside lining water resistant?** A: I added a litter box liner bag, but this is pretty water resistant. On my travel I had a very small amount of cat litter wrapped in the liner and then I set it up for cat use. It worked great. It’s well made, but not sure if it would leak if you added nothing at all. I’d at least put a pet pad in it. **Q: can you purchase extra liners?** A: No, there is no removeable liner. The bottom zips to the top.
