I believe some of the reviews people were using it indoors. Some of the lower numbered channels like Fox 7 were missing or hard to get, and every time my AC kicked on or heavy winds russeled the tree branches outside during storms, the signal would garble (pixelate) the image for 5 to 10min of the shows I was watching or recording. I bought this quad sheild, thicker RG6 solid copper cable and it made a big difference. I get all the low numbered channels now, and rarely do I get any pixalation anymore. The image quality recorded on my TiVo and displayed on my TV is also enhanced with HD clarity. The cable is a little more expensive than other brands, but it is a high quality product and the connectors are very well crimped. Solid buy. Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for when you need low voltage loss for long distance. *by D***D on September 4, 2023* I had earlier bought a cellphone booster that by the time I actually went to use it, it was too late to return it. I thought it was broken as it made no difference in reception. Turns out the RG6 cable supplied with it was copper clad aluminum. After some research CCA cable has a large voltage drop for longer distances, i.e 10 feet and only gets worse with more length. I bought this one and now the cell phone booster works great. Planning to buy another one for my shortwave antenna that also has a pre-amp at the antenna. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Increase OTA HDHomerun signal quality *by P***I on June 16, 2023* Previously used a triple shielded coaxial cables included free with my ISP cable modem. Had many around from past installations. Figured it was good enough for OTA reception since it was rated better than RG59. I was wrong. Had about 60-70% signal quality on my HDHomerun.This quad shielded RG-6 cable increased signal to 80-90%. Some channels that was borderline unwatchable is now rock steady.
