Make sure you do not overlap the film over area you are painting because you will ruin the newly painted area. If you want to use on new paint, make sure it is completely cured. Press and seal saran wrap **Q: Is this 'reverse' adhesive rolled, for easy application?** A: No, the adhesive is jus like electrical tape **Q: Can this be used to temoparily protect interior plastics (lower door, kick panel, lower seat, ect.) without harming the plastic?** A: I honestly haven't tried it for that purpose, but I would think that as long as the plastic pieces have not been painted over, or as long as there isn't anything that could be pulled off when you remove the film, then it should be okay. The adhesive is stronger than contact paper, but not as strong as packing tape. I hope that answer helps. What I have done in the past is for any adhesive film that i am going to be removing later, and I am afraid that the adhesive is too strong, I will stick the material to my jeans first, then pull off. Super easy to put on, cleaned the car off first as one would assume you do, and two layers worked great to keep a broken window sealed up so we'd have a warm drive to a repair shop in the winter.
