There are six pockets all around outside. A 500ml water bottle fits in loose in the pockets, so I think a little bigger shampoo bottle will fit snug in it. All of the other ones I looked at were quite large and more for a dorm situation where you would want to carry everything you would need including post shower items. This is the perfect size for shower essentials plus some spa stuff that tops off your gym day beautifully. I pack mine with cleansing conditioner, facial scrub, my pouf, a washcloth, and foot scrub in the center. In the outer pockets, I have some smaller cleansers of different scents, bar soaps, a razor and body oil.The water just runs right through this and it dries super fast once your shower is done. The mesh is reinforced, yet not stiff, and the reinforcement makes the fabric less absorbent. The handle is perfect for hanging anywhere since it's very flexible, and it's comfortable to carry.
