With precision parts and realistic design, this kit offers an immersive building experience and a prized collectible for military model enthusiasts. ## Description Military Model US M1A2 Abrams US Main Combat Tank M1A2 Abrams 120mm Gun US Main Combat Tank The M1 Abrams, the world's most powerful assault tank, has undergone gradual alterations since its commissioning by the US Army in 1980. The M1A2 evolved from the M1A1HA, and has an Inter-Vehicle Information System (IVIS) and a Commander-Independent Thermal Sight (CITV). The kit includes an A2 turret with CITV and a new style vision block. About the M1A2 Abrams The M1 Abrams, officially commissioned by the U.S. Army in 1980, was designed in a totally different way from the US military tanks prior to World War II. Although equipped with the same 105 mm gun as the M60, the M1 was powered by a gas turbine engine and had spaced armor. Scheduled to be commissioned by the U.S. military over a long period of time, the M1 was designed with future reforms in mind. In 1984, the M1A1 was developed with a 120 mm smooth-core gun, and another variant, the M1A1HA, was later developed with depleted uranium armor. This led to the M1A2, which was equipped with an Intervehicle Information System (IVIS), a Commander-Independent Thermal Vision Turret (CITV) and a new vision block style.
