## Features - PROFESSIONAL AUDIO FOR VIDEO CREATORS: Capture broadcast-quality sound with this compact shotgun microphone designed for filmmakers, vloggers, and content creators. Supports real-time headphone monitoring on smartphones via third-party apps so you can hear exactly what you're recording. - SUPERCARDIOID PRECISION WITH STUDIO-LEVEL CLARITY: The highly focused supercardioid pickup pattern isolates your subject's voice while rejecting unwanted background noise — delivering noticeably crisper, more detailed audio than standard directional microphones. The integrated Rycote Lyre shock mount virtually eliminates handling noise, rumble, and vibrations for clean recordings every time. - BATTERY-FREE, PLUG-AND-PLAY DESIGN: No batteries or charging required — the VXR10-PRO draws power directly from your connected device. Works with any camera, smartphone, tablet, or recorder equipped with a 3.5mm TRS or TRRS input. Adapters for both connection types are included in the box. - EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN THE BOX: Shotgun microphone, Rycote Lyre shock mount, foam and furry windscreens for indoor and outdoor use, 3.5mm TRS adapter, 3.5mm TRRS adapter, and a protective carrying case for on-the-go creators. - WIDE COMPATIBILITY — SETUP TIPS: Works with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and smartphones with a 3.5mm external mic input. Smartphone users: A Lightning or USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (sold separately) may be required depending on your device. DSLR users: Verify your camera has an external mic jack — some models like the Canon Rebel T6 and T7 (non-"i" versions) do not include one. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08DDLMRBP | | Antenna Location | Vlogging, Filmmaking | | Audible Noise | 76 Decibels | | Best Sellers Rank | #74,896 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #434 in External Camcorder Microphones | | Brand | Movo | | Built-In Media | Foam Windscreen, Furry Windscreen, Hard Case, TRS and TRRS Cables, VXR10-PRO Microphone | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | ['Camera', 'Smartphone'] | | Connectivity Technology | 3.5mm TRS, TRRS | | Connector Type | 3.5 mm Jack | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 2,190 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Crystal | | Frequency Range | 35 hz 18 khz | | Frequency Response | 20000 Hz | | Hardware Platform | Camera, Smartphone | | Impedance | 2200 Ohms | | Item Weight | 2.1 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Movo | | Mfr Part Number | VXR10-PRO | | Microphone Form Factor | Mini, Shotgun | | Model Name | VXR10-PRO | | Model Number | VXR10-PRO | | Number of Channels | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Polar Pattern | Unidirectional | | Power Source | Directly powered by device | | Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 76 dB | | Special Feature | Stand | | UPC | 817711022265 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Movo - **Connectivity technology:** 3.5mm TRS, TRRS - **Connector type:** 3.5 mm Jack - **Model name:** VXR10-PRO - **Recommended uses for product:** Vlogging, Filmmaking ## Images ![VXR10-PRO External Video Microphone for Camera with Rycote Lyre Shock Mount - Battery-Free,Compact Shotgun Mic Compatible with DSLR Cameras and iPhone, Android Smartphones - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71XyfVDRJkL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What does super-cardioid mean? Why is this a great featire?** A: It refers to polar or pick-up pattern of the mic or rather which side of the mic is most sensitive. Cardioid means it picks up from the front of the mic. Omnidirectional means it picks up from all around the mic (360 degrees). This supercardioid means the mic picks up from a slightly more narrow field (or cone) in front of the mic. Making it super directional. Cardioid, supercardioid and ultracardioid also pick up slightly from directly behind as well. **Q: does this work for GoPro 8?** A: It can work with GoPros, but you will need a GoPro 8 mic adapter to connect the 3.5mm mic cable, as GoPro doesn't have a standard 3.5mm mic port. **Q: Some say the mic can monitor mic pickup sound-others say can only monitor playback sound. Which is it?** A: The second connection isn't for mic monitoring necessarily. It just allows you to daisy chain headphones that are passed through the TRRS connection from your phone or computer. If you enable "Listen to Mic" on your computer or phone, then yes, you'd be able to hear what was coming out of the mic. **Q: funciona para una Go Pro 9. ?** A: Muy bien. Excelente recepción de audio. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Skräp *by C***E on 10 July 2026* Inte mycket bättre än den inbyggda i kameran.
