So being more than a little pissed I bought a few cables and hardware devices to get the best signal from the Droid to the AV receiver, and it turns out this cable is about as good as it gets. After trying all of though methods of transferring music and video the easiest way to listen to music through the receiver is with this cable. Over all this is the best and easiest way to listen to the music on my Droid. Even compared to some hardware devices this simple inexpensive cable works great. Wow am I glad I got this StarTech Gold plated audio cable, the SOUND is some much more clear and also no more crackling coming from the speakers. The price is very reasonable as well. I bought a 15 foot length audio cable but I really didn't need one that long.
