This would be a gift.** A: That really depends on the equipment this person likes to carry with them. This backpack is big; really big. I have a 17" BOXX mobile workstation, and it holds the computer very nicely. I like to use a standard keyboard, and it holds one of those easily as well. There is a lot more room in it for other things, but between my computer and the required two chargers, it starts to get heavy. If this IT person likes to bring a separate, full size keyboard with, I'd say they would be very happy with the size of the bag; if not, it may be bigger than they want. The quality of the bag seems to be quite good based on the two months I've been using it.
