A: I would not recomend this for cigars. While these are great for getting a fire started with kindling and more, there is no real flame to start a cigar. Love this thing otherwise.

About the best thing about this lighter is, the case is Very water proof. But the battery only lasts a little over one day. Maybe I just got a lemon, if so sorry about the review. It does work well for pipes.
