When removed, the instructions pulled off too. Anyone have instructions from package?** A: Step-by-Step Directions Mark the old mirror location on the outside of the glass with a piece of tape or a red marking pencil. Clear the old adhesive off of the windshield with a razor knife and make sure that the metal button is also free from the old adhesive. Remove the cardboard sleeve and bend the plastic primer vial to snap the inside cylinder. Primer will then flow into the felt tip. Apply thin film of primer to the side of the metal button that will come into contact with the windshield. Allow to dry for 1 to 2 minutes. Once the primer has dried, apply a single drop or small bead of adhesive to primed metal button. Adhesive will spread when the metal button is pressed to the windshield. Before pressing the metal button onto the windshield, make sure that it is not upside down. Position fixture on glass and apply pressure for 60 seconds. DO NOT MOVE while adhesive is setting. Wait an additional 30 minutes before mounting mirror to bracket. Once installed, it is a permanent adhesion. Do not remove. Tips This product works best on metal buttons. Do not use on plastic buttons, as adhesion may fail. For best adhesion, remove all previous adhesive residue from glass and metal button prior to applying the new adhesive product. I recently used the VersaChem in another vehicle with great results. The key is preparation and set time!!!I lightly sanded the button that adheres to the glass and used alcohol to clean the button and area of the glass that I'm bonding to. I would suggest marking the outside are of the glass for location, using razor blade on glass contact surface then prepping as I suggested. Wash your hands prior to prepping so no oils from your skin contact either surface. Apply glue as stated on the package, hold mirror firmly on glass for as long as you can keep it steady... at least 2 to 3 minutes. It requires 24 hour total cure time, so you are going to have to refrain from using stereo at loud volume for AT LEAST 24 hours and avoid driving if possible. Try to do the repair when you can do without your vehicle for a 24-48 hours. Again, preparation and cure time is the key **Q: Can you use this to glue a phone mount onto the windshield? the adhesive on the mount immediately came off in the heat. is this secure in 100°+?** A: This stuff sucks! Go to Walmart or Home Depot and get the E3000 glue. This didn’t hold my rear view for more then 24 hours E3000 over a year later high and low temps, still holding **Q: Will this bond plastic to glass** A: As long as both plastic and glass are clean of dirt then absolutely. This will glue just about anything.
