Synced directly to my iPhone and was up and running in 30 seconds. I wish my cars would sync to my phone as fast as this unit does on power-up. Has great range--I can be anywhere in my large garage and it remains connected--even if I'm behind 1-2 vehicles. No apparent loss in sound fidelity versus a direct, copper connection. Price was right too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Breath of New Life & Versatility for Vintage /Older HiFi Systems *by I***M on February 12, 2022* The headline says it all. My old stereo has now entered the modern era by finally being able to tap into the "sacrilegious" music streaming universe!I got this particular model given that it is styled to "hang out" with older systems such as mine. My main gripe would be build quality. Its not horrible. Its' just not the brushed anodized aluminum facings and thick power-coated casings which are donned by of my vintage components (alas - dictates of price range). Also, I accept the constraint of having to tether this unit to one's phone or comparable device (again, alas - dictates of price range).In closing, there is far better out there (superior DAC's, operational range, on-board streaming app software, etc), I just could not shake my aversion to spend $1 - 2K for such units!! (also units that would be able to aesthetically blend into component system stacks/racks).If you are comfortable with the natural trade-offs, this unit will more than serve your purpose.
