I recently saw this very interesting and informative 228 page soft cover book (Quantum Touch: The power to heal by Richard Gordan) on desertcart for a bargain price. As soon as I started reading this book I could not put it down until I finished it. Even with all the experience I have had in various forms of energy healing I found the methods and techniques taught in this book the easiest to learn and apply. One of the many things I like about the Quantum Touch system is that the techniques can stand by themselves or be combined with various other energy healing methods. The key to Quantum Touch is combining it with their breathing methods which provide a simple and unique way to apply the techniques on another person or yourself. This easy to read and understand book is organized into four parts. Getting ready explains the basic principles of Quantum Touch. The second part covers the basic techniques, frequently asked questions, intermediate techniques and advanced techniques. The third part focuses on numerous applications of Quantum Touch and the final section deals with emotional healing and fun stuff. If you are into various forms of energy healing this is a must book to have in your personal library. Quantum Touch is the most practical, straight forward and easiest energy healing method I have ever learned how to use on myself and others. Review: Works for me - Skeptic that i am, I decided to take the Quantum Touch course after reading the book. I wanted to give it a fair shot. The training was fabulous (thank you Patricia). By this I mean, I did learn to heal using energy as described in the book and thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning to. At the training, we healed each other of this and that and it seemed to work. The problem is -- at least as I see it -- that everyone at the training gets very keyed up and enthusiastic. I wanted to see how I did when I got home and was on my own. Well, interestingly, I told my alternative doctor about my experience and he mentioned a certain pain that he had been unable to handle and that got worse as the day progressed. That afternoon after I got back home, I was able to do a long distance healing on his problem. His pain went away and did not come back. So, cool. I have done much more now, but that was my first long distance healing. There is much more to tell and Quantum Touch has continued to advance since this first book. But you can do healing by reading and drilling exactly as in the book. Anyone can do it with practice. One thing I find amazing is how little practice it takes. I want to pass on some hard won wisdom about energy healing: When you learn how to do it, don't ever make out like its a superior ability only you can do. There is no room for self-importance with this. Let people know that they can learn it too and that it is actually easy and fun to learn. It is written in a manner that a person who has never done any type of energy healing at all can quickly understand and put to use the techniques and see results. Also a person who has worked with energy healing isn't made to feel like they are just reading another 101 book. I personally have been using energy healing for quite some time now, I even found that I already use some of the techniques laid out in the book, but I also learned new things as well. As soon as I was done reading the basic techniques I quickly put them to use to see what type of results I would get much to my delight my results were wonderful. I highly recommend this book to everyone from complete novice to advanced practitioner. I would like to note that one reviewer made negative mention of the terminology used in that the person receiving the healing (the client) is the called the healer. This is not a mistake and the reason that the client is called the healer is because it is taught that the practitioner simply creates an environment that allows the clients body to heal itself at an accelerated rate than it normally would.
