It’s easy to set the code. I think it’s ideal for hiding away items of value from prying eyes, maybe a house cleaner or a family member who lives with you. Lots of uses. A safe though to be totally best should be a large heavy safe. This safe box is ideal around the house and on the beach, using the cable to attach to something and maybe bury it under your deck chair so it’s hidden. Travel with it to protect travel docs and keep inside your locked case if you go out to visit the area. I think that would be safer than using the small safe in your locker.

**Q: Is there a knack to opening this for the first time (flap open but not budging)?  I don't want to damage it trying!**
A: There is a tiny flat head screwdriver in the packaging it came with. You need to pop it open the first time (while unlocked). I merely missed it, was about to return the product!

**Q: I am stuck! codes don't work, I can't reset, I can only open it with the key... any suggestions?**
A: There is a little metal pin move it left or right to change pin on the inside

**Q: Added a code and the flap lifts up but the safe will not open , I think this must be faulty ?**
A: Yes. It’s faulty

A: It’s plastic so I doubt it.

Very sturdy and well made safety lock box, purchased for holidays to secure car key, watch and mobile phone whilst I go for a paddle... It’s difficult to open and you need a screwdriver. They provide one but it’s inside the box so useless. I managed to use a screwdriver to open it. It’s easy to set the code. I think it’s ideal for hiding away items of value from prying eyes, maybe a house cleaner or a family member who lives with you. Lots of uses. A safe though to be totally best should be a large heavy safe. This safe box is ideal around the house and on the beach, using the cable to attach to something and maybe bury it under your deck chair so it’s hidden. Travel with it to protect travel docs and keep inside your locked case if you go out to visit the area. I think that would be safer than using the small safe in your locker.

It’s a solid item to have and good value. The only issues I have is that it’s quite heavy to add to any airline luggage allowance and I couldn’t initially open the box as it was quite stiff / so you need to pull it open - a bit of an air pocket I think! It will come in useful for travelling and keeping valuables safe at pools, places that do not have a safe.
