Runs very quietly. A very safe heater ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GOOD HEAT, Literally ZERO reparability AS FAR AS I CAN TELL!!!! Even with Customer support's help. *by B***S on December 13, 2023* Overall a good heater!!!! Puts out good Heat ESPECIALLY for a Plug in 120-Volt heater!!!!! Our first one we purchased from Walmart went Kaput on us Within the Year After keeping me VERY nice and comfortable for December of 2022, and the first quarter of 2023, So We called LifeSmart Customer Support And he had said it was the power switch on the back of the unit, we can just "Pop the back off and be on our way to ordering a new switch and be GOLDEN!". I grabbed my screw driver and expected the back of the unit to come off in one piece, But no.... It wouldn't???? And Pulling on the rear of the Heater would literally flex both the Wood containing a Metal box, If attempting to pull back off starting on the vertical sides and the metal back of the box, I had removed all of the visible screws on the unit and Still No Luck with taking the back off of the unit, When Customer support had literally said what to look up and "Get either the switch with 2 poles or 3 poles on it here's what to look up for it! You should be good to go!" Since he sounded confident in his diagnoses I felt fairly positive that I could handle the task But as I said if EVERY screw on the back of the unit had to be taken off and it still would not budge I was Just curious if the feet didn't screw into the metal unit as well. At that point I had just given up. I replaced the 14-ish? screws on the unit so that way if someone with a larger brain than I saw it before garbage pickup, and, If they needed a heater They could then have at it!!!! But all in I would 100% give this a ZERO Out of TEN,(0/10), in terms of reparability. As it seemed the metal box, that appears to sit inside of the wooden exterior, Is for some unexplainable reason GLUED IN PLACE and NOT simply Screwed In to position as one would expect. Presumably for safety Purposes so a Bored child wouldn't open this and accidentally touch mains voltage, But surely A kid could stick a knife in an outlet MUCH faster and easier than trying to take apart this heater! But in any case if something as simple as the main switch on the rear of the heater decides to stop giving power from the wall to the rest of the system Let alone anything more in depth were to break Just Pray that yours is still in either manufacturer warranty/ Amazon will Help out with it But that's too be seen. Hopefully This second one I have Purchased from Amazon doesn't quit within the same year it's bought and if it happens to, HOPEFULLY Amazon will accept the return of the product!!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not first time buyer of ceramic heater *by D***I on February 22, 2025* The heater seems to be working fine although I just plugged it in. The remote does not come with batteries which is fine as I knew this in advance. My concern was this product had already been sold to someone else and had been returned. The tape in the box had been triple taped. After opened the box I discovered firstly the styrofoam had been broken and pushed back in to seem as if it hadn’t been touched. After removing the heater from its tight packaging of styrofoam I first noticed it had bern damage on the top right corner. Not a big area but noticeable that it looked like it had been hit hard against something damaging the corner. I bought this heater thinking I had ordered a new one. Even the plastic/wire tie around the cord I could see had been retied. I do not nor never have ordered opened box items. So am surprised this seller did without letting the buyer know it had been set back to them and had been opened and or used. Plus it’s noticeable damaged flaw on the outside. The heater does not seem to be damaged and is heating the room well enough and is basically quiet. I bought this one to replace one that had quit working and I was unable to get it to work again even though I had cleaned the filter. The newly purchased one I thought had looked like the old one but is quite a bit different, even though it is of the same manufacturer. I am hoping this one works well and the corner damage does not affect the heating element.
