(The horizontal length and width, the height below and above the deck.) I have a front fender...** A: Overall dimensions: 9" long, 6" wide, 8" high. Height from the deck surface to the highest point: 2.5". Distance between the lower mounting bolt center to the underside of the rack: 4.75". **Q: Can someone walk me through the instructions step by step maybe with some pictures because I am a bit confused about how to install.** A: First remove the through bolt from your cantilever brakes, leaving the brakes in place, position the rack over the hole and reinsert the through bolt (may need a longer one.) After this is completed on both sides attach the stabilizer bracket to the fork crown using the existing hole in your fork crown. Note: not all forks have either brakes bosses or a hole in the fork crown if this applies the rack won't fit without the use of extra hardware and extensive creativity. Perhaps you local bike shop could help. **Q: Will this work on a carbon fork bike?** A: Will only work if you have V brake bosses. No bosses on disc brake forks. **Q: Give me some ideas for bags that would mount to this rack. Thanks!** A: This rack is not big enough to mount any bags to it, cept mebbee a tool bag on each side.
