Beginners may need a few attempts to produce an ember, while experts can start a fire in less than 30 seconds with this tool. - 2.[PERFECT EDUCATIONAL TOOL] This bow drill kit is a perfect tool for teaching kids or training Boy Scouts the principles of friction fire and a great gift for them to practice their survival skills. Building a fire easily can open up the whole world of friction fire starting for the child or youngster you are trying to teach. - 3.[SET UP AND READY] The handle and spindle are pre-assembled with parachute cord, the bearing is secured with the cap, and the product is ready to use the moment you open the box. It also comes with an instruction book with pictures and details that will help you start your first friction fire. - 4.[DURABLE DESIGN AND MATERIAL] The spindle is capable of dozens of fires. The fireboard has ten pre-made divots and notches, and it has an additional area for you to cut more divot and notches to your style, and the ball bearing spins smoothly under heavy pressure. - 5.[DON'T GIVE UP IF YOU FAIL] Creating fire through friction requires skill, physical ability, knowledge and environmental conditions. So keep trying until you understand how much pressure you should apply, how fast you should drill, until your arms are sore, until your clothes smell like smoked bacon, then you will have mastered the art of making fire by friction. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08H1GB66V | | Best Sellers Rank | #153,374 in Sports, Fitness & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports, Fitness & Outdoors ) #1,062 in Lighters & Fire Starters (Sports, Fitness & Outdoors) | | Brand | SXTL | | Brand Name | SXTL | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 172 Reviews | | Included Components | Parachute Cord | | Item Dimensions | 35.6 x 43.2 x 53.3 Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Bow Drill Fire Starter Kit | | Item Weight | 231 Grams | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 35.6 x 43.2 x 53.3 Centimeters | | Manufacturer | QK | | Manufacturer Part Number | 200830 | | Material | Bamboo, Steel | | Material Type | Bamboo, Steel | | Model Number | 200830 | | Number Of Pieces | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | UPC | 788487247490 | | Whats In The Box1 - Whats In The Box3 | Parachute Cord | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SXTL - **Included Components:** Parachute Cord - **Item Weight:** 231 Grams - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 35.6 x 43.2 x 53.3 Centimeters - **Manufacturer:** QK - **Material:** Bamboo, Steel - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **UPC:** 788487247490 ## Images ![SXTL Flat Head Bow Drill Fire Starter Kit Outdoor Survival Tool Friction Fire Starter (1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61a4V1hOTBL.jpg) ![SXTL Flat Head Bow Drill Fire Starter Kit Outdoor Survival Tool Friction Fire Starter (1) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71KA5D6y9DL.jpg) ![SXTL Flat Head Bow Drill Fire Starter Kit Outdoor Survival Tool Friction Fire Starter (1) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ygY1y6NaL.jpg) ![SXTL Flat Head Bow Drill Fire Starter Kit Outdoor Survival Tool Friction Fire Starter (1) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91eCaziAQwL.jpg) ![SXTL Flat Head Bow Drill Fire Starter Kit Outdoor Survival Tool Friction Fire Starter (1) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91lXY3xZWIL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy *by C***E on 17 December 2025* He was the only kid in outdoor Ed that had one and was the star of the show!
