Be aware, I bought this dock knowing full well it is NOT officially supported by Lenovo. I had read on several forums that it would work if you modified the power cable by removing a small piece of plastic that prevents the cable from fully seating inside the laptop power port. Bingo. Worked like a charm. Laptop is charging through the docking station. One other problem people mentioned that was the gsync wouldn’t work over the TB dock. I’m happy to mention this fully works and is supported. Currently using on a 1440p monitor with GSYNC enabled. One note, remember to disable hybrid mode before heading over to the nvidia control panel to verify gsync. Gsync won’t work with the intel GPU enabled. Only small issue I can see is the battery does begin to drain even while connected to the dock if you are planning to do long gaming sessions. My laptop was at 100% and after 2+ hours of gaming I was down to 80%. Just means the power supply can’t quite keep up with the demand so the battery helps supplement power. Other than that, all seems to be working. I have 2x 1440p monitors connected, multiple peripherals, a USB3 hub, and etc. Everything seems to be working. Didn’t have to install any drivers either, plug and play! Will update this review if I come across any issues. Good luck! Review: Supports G-sync, but finicky - I searched far and wide for a dock that can support 3 external monitors while also providing G-SYNC, and this dock is one of the few with that feature set. Unfortunately, while it works, it can be finicky to get it to work. Perhaps it's due to unstable Nvidia drivers, but I noticed an uptick in crashes since starting to use the dock.
