I charged it once and have taken about 10 trips about 15 minutes each and I have not gotten any notification of it needing to be charged yet so that’s a good sign I can not speak to the clarity of the microphone as I have not used it yet. I do notice it touching my lips occasionally which is annoying. I may remove it because I doubt I’ll use it. Overall outstanding alternative for the price. I had a jimmy rigged setup before this but this one exceeded my expectations.
