Some do not stay in place and fall off when you close the case, but most of them do stay. **Q: Who manufactures the set?** A: Honestly not sure. It is an "off brand" however as a person who normally is very particular in brands was highly impressed with this set for my son. I have used some pieces from it and have not worried about quality or strength **Q: What are the dimensions of the case?** A: I haven't really measure it.
