**Q: Does it have insertion kit**
A: You do not need an insertion kit. These blades fit any Resco guillotine clipper (according to the specs). I did have to go onto Resco.com and follow the detailed instructions for blade replacement. Hope this helps.

**Q: are these for the small dog clipper?**
A: They are for all Resco guillotine style trimmers.

**Q: I have an old Resco trimmer and these blades that I ordered are too thick to fit in it. Do they still sell the older blades?**
A: These are the only replacement blades we sell. You might want to contact the manufacture directly.

I was worried that when I received these replacements they would not fit my nail trimmer. I have 9 dogs in which I trim nails and I have loved the trimmer but the blade was dulling. When I received them, I immediately replaced the blade and it worked perfectly...though I think the original blade seemed to be a lot sharper. Anyhoo, bought the trimmer from amazon and the replacement blade and I couldn't be happier!
