I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s such a heartfelt drama. Review: Awesome movie - I watched this movie when it was originally released. And although it is outstanding, I didn't like it. I thought there was waaaay too much dialog and that it dragged on. Just watched it again and wow just wow. I still think Troy is a mean man. But boy do I get him. He was all about surviving for himself and his family. Given his childhood he wasn't taught any better. But he did the best he knew how and was a better parent then his. His drive, determination, even his wisdom reminds me of the hard working fathers of the 60s and 70s who were denied many opportunities but never threw in the towel and walked away or buried themselves in alcohol 24/7. My dad was a very kind man, but I see so much of him on Troy's character.
