I'm 5'2 and the water comes to my shoulders so I turned the belt backward with the buckle in the back and that works great for me. When I swim my bottom tends to sink so this swim aid helps keep my bottom and hips up for a much more comfortable swim. I had purchased and returned multiple belts before finally finding one that works for me. I rinse it off quickly and hang up to dry after using. the quality is great and good value for the money. I have been using this for almost a year four days a week the quality is great and good value for the money.

A: Thank you for you question.  We believe that the ergo sculpt design with the  open handles will allow you to submerge the dumbbells at the level that you are comfortable with,

**Q: there are light medium and heavy resistance levels in barbell choices.   where do you rate these?**
A: Very light weight, cap comes off all the time followed by the chap  form. It seems like when you buy Chinese made stuff from Amazon, you have to buy the superglue also for all the Chinese made products. Then be ready to collect the form pieces scattered all over the pool as well, do o not waste your money on Chinese  products. Mine broke off just after  30 days so I lost money, it was closer to $50 when I bought it.

**Q: Do ergo dumbells offer as much resistance as the larger foam dumbells (in water of course)**
A: No, they don't. These are smaller and a low resistance prop. If you can physically tolerate the high resistance of the large dumbells, then get those. These are designed more ergonomically for people with hand problems (or shoulder problems) who need less resistance to avoid pain.

Love this! I am rehabb8ng my back and this has helped me swim and tread water again to strengthen my back. It is a tiny bit big. Can't really cinch completely around my waist without it riding up. Use it daily now!
