And is used with the carbide tipped bits to drill “chip free” clean holes in veneers, hardwoods, laminates and millimine. The tool features slide pins for 37mm inset positioning as well as adjustable stops for insets greater than 37mm. I'm not entirely sure if the 5 holes at the front edge are spaced to accommodate hinges or not. They are much too far apart for a pair of holes, but might be a placement guide for the first hole at the top or bottom. **Q: What is this jig made out of?** A: It is made of either some sort of tough plastic or resin. If you buy the correct bits for it, they never waller out the sides and stop at the perfect depth.
