I would start with 1.5 tablespoon or to the bottom of the measuaring tab in the liquid soap dispenser. I never use more and use it on all my colored clothing on cold. For hand wash in a kitchen sink 1 table spoon or less will do, go by feel. Better add a bit when not enough than to soapy. **Q: Which color bottle do I use for dark clothes** A: I use the red one for my black and colored dresses and top. Always in cold. The colors don't fade and black stays black as well. Love the Perwoll. Always used it in Germany when I lived there. Don't mind spending the money on some6that works. I never put colors or black in the dryer. Especially the darks. Dryer isn't color or black friendly.
