Luckily haven't had the chance to check out fire retardant material but I'm sure it works. It can easily hold my 3 3s lipos for 1/10 slash and enough room for my 1/16 slash batteries also. I not only charge them in the bag but also store all of them in it too. Only have one in the bag while charging unless you want to burn all your lipos at once.
