I got it to replace the cheap "cigarette lighter" power thing for an in car child camera system that failed, and it works great off a normal 5V USB port. I've also used it for a raspberry pi CM4 on the official IO board (no PCI-e stuff, just the CM4 running Raspbian and a couple other operating systems for some short term testing, but it worked great!
