They lock down on the bar good and tight. The one had release is actually a pretty nice feature to have. My only complaint is that the magnet on side could be a little stronger. It sticks to the rack but sometime I would put it on and it would slide down a little. Not off but down and it would stop and stay there. But overall I like it. ### ⭐ Overpriced and tough to use *by on Reviewed in the United States 30 August 2026* Magnet is just glued to the housing and came off upon immediate first use. $60 for this seems insane. Super tough to get on a brand new barbell from REP and also the clamp is hard to takeoff. Definitely do not reccomend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredibly convenient, secure, & awesome looking *by on Reviewed in the United States 17 May 2023* At first one was very tight & a little tough to get on/off both with the lever & sliding it on. After a week or two of heavy use however, the plastic mechanism snapped off(see picture) which made it much more smooth. Still 5 stars because besides that I don't think it has effected performance. Probably going to pick up another pair of these.
