Thank you. Regrettably, I can't get into the details of the code except that we use the RandomNumber function in the ATtiny microprocessor in the system. I understand that it is hard to get truly random numbers from a computer, but with both the ON and OFF time being random, as well as the direction of motion being random, overall it is as random as you can get from a machine. Hope this helps. **Q: What is the cord length?** A: About 5 feet or so. **Q: Will this work with a wired mouse?** A: I don't think so. There isn't a slot on the tray for the wire to lay and the mouse needs to fit inside the tray to work. It works great for a wirelss mouse. Make sure you check the size of the tray because I just got a new mouse and it's too big to fit this tray. I'll need to buy a bigger one.
