The iot SIM cards are dirt cheap. I have my system set to update every minute and I only spend a few dollars per month. Review: This is the first Victron product in which I am disappointed with its performance. I have had great experience in the past with Victron products in my RV setup with a Victron Multiplus 24/3000 70, two MPPT 150-35 solar charge controllers, battery shunt, and a Cerbo GX for monitoring and control. I wanted to remotely monitor my rig which is parked on off grid property in Northern Michigan about 180 miles from my house during the summer and fall. I am very knowledgeable in the setup of Victron products but for some reason, I could not get this device to connect to the VRM. I am using the GPS built into the device which is okay, but I wanted it for data communication.
