Review: I love Kokuyo - It opens fairly easily now that I know how. If I read Japanese I'd have known how not to open it the first time, but no harm done. Translation via Google Lens is really helpful for Kokuyo products. I like being able to fold the covers around back to back for writing to give some stiffness, especially with their small capacity. I also have a Kokuyo 2x2 slim binder. I keep one at home and carry one in my bag and transfer sheets between them as needed. Great paper for fountain pens at a good price, so I bought plenty of filler paper. I like having a spiral notebook I can add and remove pages from.
Review: It's fine - It's fine. You can't really flip the cover around to the back.--it doesn't lay flat. I'd suggest Kokuyo paper and a Muji cover/binder.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many sheets will fit in this notebook?**
A: Short answer: 40 Sheets max. Long answer: It depends on weight of paper. A5 20 Ring filler paper is not that easy to find, but some different weights (= paper thickness) are available from Kokuyo and Maruman. Also too much paper can cause sheets to catch while turning and notebook to not lay as flat when folded back.  I use this for a simple portable notebook and like to keep filled with about 20 sheets of "original" Kokuyo 807BT paper.

**Q: How many pages are in each notebook?**
A: 10 sheets. It's recommended you purchase the notebook refills if you're planning to use the notebook frequently!

**Q: Does it come with some paper?**
A: Yes, it came with 30 sheets (60 pgs) of paper.

**Q: Are these blank pages or lined?**
A: We ordered the lined paper for the A5.  We also have since ordered the B5 and ordered graph paper for it, as well as the lined.

It's fine. You can't really flip the cover around to the back.--it doesn't lay flat. I'd suggest Kokuyo paper and a Muji cover/binder.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the only notebook you'll ever own

I saw this in a Japanese based stationary shop and decided to give this a try. I have the larger size (B6?) which is a close size to a composition book ~ if I was in college I would definitely go with the larger size. This size A5 is the size of a 8.5x11 folded in 1/2. This notebook is amazing! I can carry as little or as many pages of paper and I can move it all around (which allows me to group different subjects together ... home remodeling, parent's health care, work and/or children's school related things. You'll only need one notebook since you can always add and remove paper once you purchase the notebook. I don't know why I wasn't aware about this in college. This would be a life changer for me then!!
