## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have coating?**
A: The bowl part is smooth and does not appear to have a varnish type coating. I clean and dry it immediately after using. However I mostly use my acrylic cutting board as it is larger. The handle of the knife is finished the same way and it is extremely sharp. I really like it.

**Q: Is this ulu made by Inupiaq peoples?**
A: This is made by the Alaskan company owned by an Alaskan native person. The workers there are all kinds of people to answer. The question is made in Alaska.

**Q: How deep is the bowl**
A: Not very deep I chop half an onion just fine, then scrape it out and then chop the next thing.

**Q: Is this knife made in alaska, or it is made in china.  i have one that is made in alaska, then i wanted the bowl, when it came it was made in china.**
A: This set is made in Anchorage, Alaska.  It is also possible to buy the wood bowl as a stand alone product if you already have the ulu knife.  Hope this helps!
