EE is wide in men's, 4E/EEE is extra wide in men's. I don't EE as an option when I made my purchase of the 2E width, however I see it now. I have really wide feet and most boots tend to bust out at the side on my boots. The 2E width was the perfect choice for me. These boots are great and comfortable right out of the box. **Q: Does the Ariat work hog pull on come in steel toe or composite toe?** A: Yes, This style of boots does come in a steel toe and composite toe. and it comes in a waterproof style as well. This boot is not a steel toed version. **Q: are they steel toes?** A: This one is not but Ariat makes one that looks like this that is a steel toe. **Q: What is the difference between d and b width. The chart just says medium for both.** A: If there is a B in the mens boots that means narrow about (3.75 inches) if they are womens boots then that is the standard width. The D in mens boots are the standard width for mens and they measure about 4 inches. Okay - ordering the correct size footwear from the internet is tricky at best. I tried on Ariat boots (different style) at a local store, ordered a 1/2 size smaller than that and still ended up with these boots being a little loose. So I did what any guy would do - threw in a pair of insoles and wore them anyway! These things look so good and are so comfortable I did not want to send them back for the "perfect" size, and with the insoles they fit correctly now anyway. Now for the boots;they look so nice I don't want to wear them to work and muddy/scratch them up!VERY sturdy materials and buildINCREDIBLY comfortable. I am on my feet often for more than 10 hours at a time and my feet don't "breathe a sigh of relief" when I take these off. As a matter of fact, I can wear these all day at work and still want to put them back on to go out at night!EXCELLENT traction on any surface I have encountered so farI totally agree with the reviewer that said he wore these at work, took them home, cleaned them up, and wore them out or to church.
